question on kettlebells and new article on kicking
The fifty-sixth installment of my column on training is
currently
available. It is titled "Common Errors in Basic Kicks: Hook Kick and Back Kick."
Now, todays question:

Answer: You won't go wrong buying a 16 kg kettlebell. Even if you
will soon "outgrow" it in various single-hand presses, snatches,
and getups, you can always get another one and do all those
exercises with a pair of kettlebells (so your kettlebell doesn't
feel so alone). There are plenty of exercises that require two
kettlebells, such as renegade rows, windmills, etc. Besides, 16 kg
is a good weight to learn juggling.
To help you decide which weight to buy I include here a link to several
free videos on kettlebells, with the first one on choosing the
right kettlebell weight.
