Can anyone help me with my sidekick. Whenever I try and kick over waist height it turns into a mix between side and back kick and looks pretty naff. Also our style is to kick the upper body more upright than a TKD sidekick. So I'm trying to keep my upper body slightly leaning forward and at 45 degrees to target but am finding this so awkward as I naturally want to lean away from the kick to get the height.
Any advice and/or drills to get this right would be much appreciated.
