Constant knee ache

Postby alik » Jun 19, 2007 22:14

Is really due to my driving position.
As I put in several hours of driving nearly each day, my right leg is positioned at an outward angle in order to accomodate a "double-clutching" driving technique, which involves simultaneously pressing on brake and gas pedals.

The seat is rather low (it's a Miata), so my leg is nearly horizontal. My foot is at about 45 degree angle (to the right of vertical) during driving.
As a result of this position, the left side of my right knee tendons is almost always aching, which ranges from being tender all the way to painful.

Any recommendations on strengthening my knee especially for this situation?
