training for endurance

i met somebody and told me that he`s runing 25 km every day, i think that he does it from monday to friday, he`s a football soccer player in a 2nd. division team, i told him that he`s runing too much, i don`t know a lot about training to professional athletes, but i think its too much..

am i right?

any suggestions about his training?

I can't see any legitimate training reason for running that much. Moreover, he is not really "running" if he is moving that much. More like jogging.

How can he ever recover. He is either lying or crazy!
