Since your advise on deadlifts i've progressed on lowering the supports and increasing the weight with no soreness in the hamstrings (which was my original problem) My questions are:

1 - I know only i can answer how may sets and reps i should do but would you recomend 3 sets of 5 (warm up), 1 set of 3 (Work set) and a set of 3 (back down set) to build strength? rather than 3 sets of 10 which i am currently doing. coz my back still shakes when i try lying leg raises.

2 - I don't want to over do it when it comes to my back. what kind of feeling in the lower back muscles would you say is acceptable when deadlifting? i just feel the burn, no pain.
